Pear & Gorgonzola Tarts

Here’s a quick little canape for you. Pear season is in full swing so I’m trying to come up with as many pear recipes as I can. This is a good one just on its own, or to serve with ice cream.

All you do is cut your puff pastry into squares, then thinly slice pears and add to the pastry(which is on a nonstick or greased tray). Add some caster sugar, melted butter and a couple bits of thyme, and bake at 180C until puffed & golden.

 

 

I added some Gorgonzola infused mascarpone, but you could just eat as is or serve warm with some vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!
