Sourdough-No Knead Style


So I was finally able to put my sourdough starter to the test this week. I used the same no knead bread recipe I’ve been using, only I added a few heaping tablespoons of starter at the beginning.

It turned out awesome, with a slightly sour but not overwhelmingly sour flavour:

I was nervous about it, but in the end it worked brilliantly. A couple days before I wanted to make the bread, I took the starter out of the fridge and refreshed it.

Next time I might find out what this whole kneading thing is all about.
