Basil & Ricotta Crostini


This is a super simple recipe that would be good for entertaining or just as a snack. I’ll keep this short and sweet….

Depending on how many you want to make, I would do a 1:1 basil and ricotta ratio. So here I used just 3 tablespoons of chopped basil, and about 3 tablespoons of ricotta, but I’m only making a few pieces.

Chop the basil, then, mix with some good olive oil and a little salt and pepper, and add in the ricotta. Stir to combine. Now, smear on a toasted slice of your favourite homemade bread.








and, voilà! Now feed this to anyone in the vicinity of your kitchen, and they will love you for all eternity.

Basil & Ricotta Crostini


  • 3Tbl Fresh chopped basil
  • 3Tbl Fresh Ricotta
  • 1Tbl Olive oIl
  • Salt and Pepper

Cooking Directions

  1. Chop Basil
  2. Add Olive Oil and season
  3. Add Ricotta and spread onto toasted crostini (or crackers)
